Description:
Wendover is a market town and the High Street with its historic Manor Waste is the heart of the village. Our local produce market runs on the 3rd Saturday of the month.
The market is organised and promoted by Wendover Parish Council, who appoints one of the stall holders as a Market Manager.
The market varies month to month, but you can usually find:
· Beef, lamb, pork, poultry and game
· Speciality sausages, bacon pate and pies
· Traditional bread, sweet & savoury tarts, cakes, biscuits and pastries
· Seasonal fruit and vegetables
· Free range eggs and cheese
· Flavoured oils and fruit juices
· Ready meals, soups and deserts
· Local crafts
· Homemade jam, marmalade, pickles and local honey
· Herbaceous, pot and patio plants
· Snacks, marinades, chutney and sauces
· Hot cooked food
· Other guest stalls
· Charity Stall
