Carrdus Christmas Fair, Saturday 21st Nov 2020.

Carrdus Christmas Fair has been a much loved fixture of the Carrdus School calendar for many years. The Fair is open to the public and to our delight many of our regular visitors describe our fair as magical and tell us that, for them, it marks the start of Christmas. The Fair has always been a success, but over recent years some tweaks and improvements have really built on the successes of previous years and we have gone from strength to strength with 2019 being our most successful Fair to date. Having two real reindeer there for the whole day is a super draw, and they will be back again for 2020.

This event plays host to more than 50 carefully selected stalls that benefit from the infectious festive spirit created by the school parents, students and staff who work together so that visitors to the fair can enjoy the culinary delights of Mrs Claus's Café, two mini Christmas Carol Concerts, a Grotto featuring Santa Claus and his elves, Lapland Libations (our licensed bar), games, tombolas, crafts, mulled wine, mince pies, mistletoe and merriment. A huge amount of effort goes into making it as successful and as enjoyable as possible for everyone involved.

All door entry fees (£3 per person, under 12s have free entry) go to our two chosen charities: Katharine House Hospice and ROSY.

Stall applications in 2019 reached an all time high, with a substantial waiting list so early application is recommended. Many stallholders ask to return year after year and the last three years have seen very significant rises in (already impressive) visitor numbers. If you want to be a part of the fun for 2020 please do get in touch, it truly is a magical and wonderfully fun start to Christmas.
