Description:
We are a group of volunteers who believe that crafting, but needle crafting in particular, is a mindful activity and can enhance positive mental health outcomes. We also believe that supportive social contact is important for wellbeing and that isolation and loneliness are harmful to health in many ways. These beliefs underpin our commitment to facilitate and encourage engagement with social needlecraft groups.
We try to provide free access to our groups and have established a fundraising group to help us with our ambitions to raise some funds to enable us to purchase equipment and materials and also to help subsidise membership and room hire fees. Our stall is to support this process and we sell a wide range of handmade, mostly needlecrafted, items and craft supplies.
