Description:

This year's Woodmansterne Village May Queen Parade and Fete is on Bank holiday Friday 8th May.  We have had to change the day of the fete, to coincide with the change to the Bank Holiday date this year. The parade starts at 12.50pm arriving on the village green around 1pm.  The fete tends to end around 4pm, weather depending!  Details are as follows:

Pitches. The pitch prices this year are £25 and £5 if you would like to hire a table.  A booking form is attached.

Please note that while we don't wish to turn anyone away we have to ensure we have a healthy balance of stall type.  Therefore, bookings for the more popular type of stall will be taken on a first come, first served basis.  

Adverts. We are also now taking bookings for adverts in our programme. The programmes are sold door to door around Woodmansterne Village and the surrounding areas and they are also available to purchase on the day.  The prices for these adverts are £40 for a full page (A5), £20 for a half page and £10 for a quarter page.  If you are interested in advertising please forward a copy of your advert along with payment by 14th February.  

Banner Advertising. We also now have the ability to advertise with a banner around the arena and the cost will be £10.  If you need a banner we can arrange this. The cost for a 1.5m x .6m heavyweight banner with eyelets and full colour process logo and/or text will be £25 plus VAT (plus the £10 advertising fee). We would require a print ready logo - the higher the resolution the better.  Please contact us for more information.  

Raffle Donations. Finally, if you have anything you can kindly donate as a raffle prize for our kids raffle or for our tombola we would love to hear from you.  All money made by the May Queen on the day is put back into funding the Parade and Fete each year. We also donate to our local organisations (Brownies, Cubs, etc) and then the main bulk amount goes to our chosen charity which this year is Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
