Description:
Tupton is honouring the end of WW2 and all those who were still fighting in the far east after Victory in Europe (VE Day) it is a small event and we would like to have anyone who supports a charity they feel is related to this to have a stall there or anyone who has a display and/or knowledge about that period of the war. If you provide catering for this era of food we would also love to hear from you.
We will be having a small service as well as 1940's childrens games, ration cake stall run by the WI and some information about the people involved. Many families in Tupton have relatives who were involved but still feel they don't know enough about what happened to their family members even in a general sense. We don't want the forgotten army to remain forgotten in Tupton, we look forward to hearing from you.
