Description:

Christmas Market in the popular market town of Ripley, in Derbyshire. Close to the M1 and A38.

Sunday 29th November 2020 - 10am until 3pm.

Each Christmas, we hold a Christmas Market for the local community to attend. We are looking for exciting, varied types of stall holders from gifts, crafts, clothing, books to unusual items etc.

Food stalls will be kept at a minimum so it will be on a first come, first served basis. Sorry, but we won't be accepting applications from hot food stalls selling burgers/ hot dogs/ ice cream/ candy floss etc.  We welcome food and drink stalls that are a little 'different' and offer something exciting, unusual and extremely tasty! We will need to have copies of your licences/ Health and Safety Certificates/ Hygiene Certificates/ Appliance and Gas certificates, where applicable. ALL STALL HOLDERS MUST SEND PROOF OF THEIR PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE WHEN BOOKING. If you are selling alcohol, you will need to obtain a Temporary Events Licence from Amber Valley Borough Council.

We will not duplicate the stalls that sell the same items as it's not fair on you, the trader and it isn't what our customers want to see, so please request a stall booking form ASAP as it will be the ones that are returned first, that we will book.

Charity stalls will also be kept to a minimum.

You can book a market stall with a canopy (£35.00) or you can bring your own gazebo/ trailer (£25.00). A refundable £20.00 deposit will be required upon booking your stall.

This is a very popular event in the Ripley Christmas event calendar. It is very well attended by the local community. There will be many stalls together with attractions such as children’s fairground rides, entertainers and live music.

The event will be advertised in our newsletter which goes to over 14,000 homes in and around Ripley and on social media and in the local press.
