Description:
We are holding an event on Saturday 26th September 2020 in Palmerston Park, around the band stand area, Southampton between 12:00pm and 19:00pm.
We are therefore extending an invitation to you to host a stall at our event.
So let me explain some more about what we are all about below.
We are a FREE event and rely on sponsorship and donations to deliver Pride. We do not have nor want corporate sponsors whom do not care for the LGBTQIA+ community, we are all about the real meaning of pride:
1. Using only local traders in our stalls who are all ethical and connected to the LGBTQIA+ community.
2. Paying all of our acts.
3. Involving all the charities and community groups that can not afford to pay extreme amounts for a stall at commercial pride events by offering them a FREE stall so they can tell you all about the awesome work they are doing in our communities.
4. NO one is milking the pink pound on our watch or paying us to say yeah for one day we love the queers!
5. We will have a fully accessible outdoor venue that will be accommodating to all sectors of the community.
6. We are in no way anything to do with Southampton Pride, we are a collective of queer people who are sick of being force fed Kylie and S Club and businesses who only show an interest when they think it will benefit them.
We are radical but we are not the only ones.....
Look at New York, Glasgow, London, Brighton and many more cities across the world all of whom are taking a stand and bringing back the real meaning of pride and let's be honest until we are all FREE around the world what is there to celebrate?
So if you are interested in a fully ethical non comercial pride event, please do throw us an email or indeed.
The only catch is A MAXIMUM of 1 FREE stall per charity / community organisation.
Traders stalls are a mere £20 per pitch.
