Description:
The Newbury Branch of the Kennet and Avon Canal Trust will be holding a Waterways Festival on Sunday 5th July in Victoria Park, alongside the canal. The event, kindly supported by Newbury Town Council, will be open to the public from 10.30am-4.30pm. There will be something for all the family to enjoy. There will be a flotilla of beautiful narrowboats and in the park a host of stalls, activities and entertainment. There will be live music from The Crofton Stokers and The MisSpent Ukes.
On the water there will be boat trips on the MV Jubilee departing from The Wharf, as well as some water based displays and the famous Newbury Duck Race! Entry to the public is free.
