Description:
The festival is again at the historic Moira Furnace, on the banks of the restored Ashby Canal at the Heart of the National Forest, North West Leicestrshire.
To celebrate the 20th annniversary of the festival, and also contribute to the months' VE day events, we are welcoming the D-Day Darlings, Britain's Got Talent Finalists in 1918, who will be recreating all the old wartime songs.
There will be boats, Battle of Brtain flypast, Morris dancing, falconry displays, children's entertainment, historic vehicles, a wide range of stalls and exhibits, entertainment marquee, bar and refreshments. -And the annual Duck Race on the Ashby Canal!
