Saturday 9 May 10.00am to 5.00pm In celebration of 75 years’ peace in Western Europe and to commemorate the end of World War 2, Cirencester is holding a weekend of events. Cirencester Town Council will be holding a vintage/1940s themed family event on Saturday 9th May on the Market Place and through to the Abbey Grounds. This event will be run in conjunction with the Farmers' Market and will include family entertainment, craft activities and performances. If you have any skills or ideas that would benefit this community celebration of Cirencester and Britain’s peace with Europe, we would love to hear your ideas.
The set up provided for this event will be a pop up gazebo measuring 3m x 3m which will be located in the Abbey Grounds. Stall holders are required to bring their own tables/display units to set up. Deadline for application 30th March.
