From the 30th of July to the 2nd of August 2020 we are organizing a dog camp to raise funds and awareness for 8 Below Husky Rescue, On the Saturday of the camp (the 1st of August 2020) there will be an event day which is open to the public. This will include a dog show, Dog agility and live music throughout the day at Bakewell showground, Bakewell DE45 1AH.

I organised this family fund day and dog show in August 2019 which raised £1,481.60 and now we are going bigger and better with the extra people from our camp (which will be on the same field), We have the bigger filed which is more populated and closer to Bakewell centre and we will also have plenty of time to get the work about this event spread around- ie. Better posters put up, radio announcements and more time for a larger following of the event.

We are needing stalls of all kinds to come and help us raise as much funds and awareness as possible for our Husky Rescue.

A bit about us…

8 Below Husky Rescue are a registered charity in England and Wales who specialise in rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming northern breed dogs and their crosses throughout the UK. Our team is made up of volunteers who dedicate their time to help raise awareness of the northern breeds along with helping fundraise at our many events throughout the year. We work with many pounds across the country and have a partnership with Battersea Dog Home where we assist and take on huskies from their care. All of the dogs who come into our care are fully assessed on arrival, they are all neutered, microchipped, flea and wormed and are only rehomed when they are ready, into a suitable environment for that specific dog.

There will be a dog show on the Saturday – the 1st of august and a raffle on the Sunday, with tickets being sold throughout the camp and throughout the fun day. We will be expecting a lot of dog owners camping as well as many members of the public as we have a large following.

Each stall will have 3m x 3m space. It will be £30 per stall, and a donation for our raffle, to be collected on the day. Any other donations will be appreciated. The fee will have to be paid to secure your booking.
