The Areas Busiest Event of The Year!
The Anonymous Travelling Market are proud to have the opportunity of promoting trade space at this event, now in its 49th year. Some traders have been coming back for over 30 years. In 2019 this event attracted over 15,000 footfall per day from the Saturday until the Bank Holiday Monday.
PRIME EVENT – Several Trading Options.
There are trading opportunities available both on inside the 4 day event and outside on the Bank Holiday Monday for one day in the adjacent High Street which is full of Blue Chip & Independent businesses.
There is entertainment taking place both inside the main event and outside on the High Street. Some of the entertainment is ticketed but much of it free. All trading areas are in the public free to enter areas of the event.
Below you will see two fantastic trading opportunities.
PLEASE NOTE – There are no catering concessions available. These concessions are filled by long standing traders at this event and there is an extensive waiting list. No additional traders are currently being added to the waiting list.

TRADING OPPORTINITY 1 – 4 days trading (Friday 23rd May to Monday 25th May 2020 inclusive – No single days trading) in the new Artisans Area inside the main event. The trading Times are to be confirmed but planned to be 10am to 6pm. The Artisans area is set in the heart of the event. on the Island Park which is situated at the bottom of the High Street.
In this area we are encouraging traders who produce their own goods, particularly goods produced within 100 mile radius of Chippenham. Traders will also be able to give demonstrations of how their products are made. There is also the opportunity for Vintage and Brocante traders in tis area. There is also an adjacent Music Traders area where you could be located if your products are music related.
There will be trader parking provided on site but not necessarily adjacent to your pitch. There will be overnight Security Officers and Dogs throughout the site. There will also be the opportunity to set up on the Friday

The cost of a 3m selling frontage by 3m deep pitch (trader providing own gazebo and tables) will be £250 for 4 days. The cost of a 6m selling frontage by 3m deep pitch (trader providing own gazebo and tables) will be £450 for 3 days. There are also a few Suitcase Pitches at £125
Larger spaces will be pro rata the 6m space charge.
TRADING OPPORTUNITY 2 – 1 Day of trading on Bank Holiday Monday 25th May 2020 10am-4pm – on Chippenham High Street. Chippenham Monday Festival Market. The In 2019 this was a very busy area with heavy footfall. The event organisers provided extensive music and dance entertainment through the length of the street. Most of the Towns shops were open on this day.
Applications are invited from traders selling from the genres in both Green & Black above.
Please note that Generators are not permitted and that we have no available space for caterers There is space allocated for around 50 traders and it will no doubt disappear quickly.
The Monday Festival Market takes place in the High Street – there will not be any free parking for traders in this area.

Larger spaces will be pro rata the 6m space charge.
We are also working towards eliminating plastic and non recyclable waste from the events we work with and would like to see all traders using bags and packaging that is from a sustainable source and either commonly recyclable or compostable.
